There is a growing powerhouse in the quest for Celiac Awareness. An event that raises tens of thousands of dollars each year to The University of Maryland in an effort to help researchers find the answers they seek. Alek Komarnitsky is the genius behind Alek’s Controllable Halloween Decorations for Celiac Disease, a fun and interactive display that gets bigger and better every year. The display is composed of thousands of lights and fun inflatables. Hulk and his twin brother, Hulk, make an appearance every year along with Frankenstein, Homer Simpson and the new guy on the block, the Headless Horseman.

Alek’s Controllable Halloween Lights are bright, lively and wind powered. As the name would suggest, they are also controllable...By you! When you log onto the site you get to have the power. Choose to turn on the lights, inflate The Hulk or leave it all dark and spooky!

Controlling the display is not the only fun offered here, there is also a Halloween blog which serves more as a forum, where you can join in with others who are enjoying the fun.
