Product Review: Michael Season’s Baked Cheddar Cheese Curls
There is a lesson for me in this review in that it is for a product that I never would have considered buying for myself. Please don’t take that as anything negative against the company, it’s just that I thought I had the “cheese curl” thing pretty well in hand. They were one of the few snacks that was not affected by my gluten free diet. Thank goodness my friend in the office who buys snacks has a different opinion on this subject.
These cheese curls are delicious! They have a more complex flavor than a lot of others I’ve tried. The cheese has a great flavor that is bold without being overpowering. As far as cheese powder goes, it may be the best I’ve tried yet.
Along with the flavor, there are so many grown-up perks to Michael Season’s Baked Cheddar Cheese Curls. They are wheat free and gluten free, but that is pretty common. What makes these uncommon the fact that they also have no hydrogenated oils, no preservatives and no artificial colors or flavors. My favorite part is that I don’t have orange fingers after eating them.
I’m going to call these a “compromise” snack. The kids can still have the cheesy goodness they love, and I can have the satisfaction of giving healthier snack. (That’s not even to mention the complete lack of orange fingerprints on the walls.)
No doubt you’ve figured out by now that I whole heartedly recommend Michael Season’s Baked Cheddar Cheese Curls. They are definitely worth branching out of the cheese curl comfort zone.
