Product Review: Glutino Gluten Free Organic Bars

I love Glutino. Yep, I said it. They are one of my very favorite brands of gluten free snacks. They have a consistent quality to their snacks that I really appreciate as a consumer. That being said, I have to wonder about the name on this product. Organic Bar?!

Maybe it’s because I’m in a bit of a snarky mood today, but if someone offered me an organic bar my first thought would be, “Of what?”- followed closely by, “Nope, I’m good. Thanks though.”

It’s a shame too, because Glutino Organic Bars are REALLY good. I tried the chocolate and peanuts flavor and was immediately transported back to my own school lunches and the chewy granola bars that I loved to find there. It’s the perfect mix of chocolate and peanuts, combined with brown rice crisps and a lot of yum.

Back to the snarky side now; These are tiny. I know in my healthy “mom” brain that these are probably just the right portion size, but I felt a little unsatisfied. Also, there are only five bars in the box. This is not a big deal in the rest of the world, but in my house we split the treats 50-50.

Overall, I do highly recommend this product. They weigh in on the healthy side of snacking and (did I mention?) they are REALLY GOOD. Just be sure that when you pick up your box you are prepared for a light snack.
