Product Review: Wylde Sesame Pretzels

Ener-G Foods has brought about my latest food addiction. It all started the day that a super sweet coworker picked up some gluten free pretzels for me to snack on while I was at the office. I’m pretty fond of pretzels anyway, they are a great mild snack.

So, I grabbed the package and tried the Wylde Sesame Pretzels while I was working. Can you believe that over the weekend I was looking forward to Monday because I had left the bag on my desk?! (Yes, we are all wondering why I didn’t just go get some...) These are so good!

The pretzels are light and crisp rings, coated with a generous amount of sesame seeds. Sesame seeds have a soft crunch that I love anyway, and when you put them on a crunchy pretzel... Wow :) I love the way the textures blend.

Aside from the fact that Wylde Sesame Pretzels are so tasty, they are also incredibly allergy friendly. They are gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, casein free, soy free, nut free and egg free. I tell you, though, taking all that out did not take anything from the flavor here.

The only problem comes in the fact that the bags are so small. The largest size offered is 8 oz. This is referred to as the party/family size. I can’t imagine any party where the entire bag would not disappear in the first five minutes. I know that this is probably a good thing, they are saving me from my bad over-snacking habits.

Overall, I recommend these gluten free pretzels to snackers everywhere. The texture alone will keep me coming back for more.
