Product Review: EnviroKidz Organic Gorilla Munch Cereal

I have decided that today it is time to dedicate a review to those among us who are newly gluten free. Particularly those who are missing the midnight bowls of Cap’n’Crunch cereal. Now, I know that EnviroKidz Cereals are made for the kids, but nothing says that adults can’t love them too. After all, most of the really fun cereals are made for kids, right?

Gorilla Munch Cereal is the Cap’n’Crunch of the gluten free world. It has the flavor you are looking for, even the way that the cereal pieces stick together when you pour milk on them :) It is crunchy, sweet and delicious. It is also great to pack in a snack bag to eat on the go.

The cool thing is, this gluten free cereal is organic and is made with only three ingredients (organic corn meal, organic evaporated cane juice and sea salt.) I love the simplicity here, I can actually pronounce all of the words.

Now for the down side - The box of cereal is more expensive than “regular” cereal and it only has 10 oz. in it. The smaller portion may end up making this gluten free goodness a sometime indulgence rather than a morning (or midnight) tradition.
