Product Review: Schar Gluten Free Cheese Bites

Today I am a happy woman! I finally found some gluten free cheese crackers :) Before going gluten free, I used to eat cheese crackers all the time. Since changing my diet I have not been able to find these crispy bits of cheesy goodness, until this morning.

Now, I’m not saying that these crackers from Schar are the only gluten free cheese crackers out there, just that I haven’t been able to find any around here. To be honest, after trying these, I won’t be looking very hard. I love them!

Schar Gluten Free Cheese Bites are bite sized crackers shaped like circles, rectangles and triangles. Each delightful shape is puffy and so light and crisp that you can’t stop yourself from eating them.

The cheese flavor is rich like an aged cheddar and ever so mild. There are no overpowering or unpleasant flavors to be found in this bag…

Which leads me to the only problem. Like most of the products I have had from Schar, the bag is small. This one rings in at around a dollar an ounce - not the greatest value, but still doable based on texture alone.

I will be buying these gluten free cheese crackers again. As often as my budget allows, in fact. I recommend that everyone try them at least once.
