Product Review: Mayacamas Savory Herb Gravy Mix

I am such a sucker for mashed potatoes and gravy. I really do take every opportunity to indulge myself. It is because of this that I am always happy to do a gravy review :)

The package told me that the gravy is gluten free, vegetarian and has no trans fat. I love things that are clearly labeled like this. It makes me happy when I don’t have to search all over for the information I need.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from an herb gravy. My fear was that it would be too herby. You know the flavor I’m talking about, right? The kind of flavor that is super salty-ish and jam packed with herbs. Kind of like a solid Mrs. Dash.

Thank goodness I was completely wrong. This is the best gluten free gravy mix I have tried yet. It was fast to make, thickened perfectly and tasted amazing.

The flavor was rich, dark and full. The slight hint of herb flavor added depth and rounded out the existing flavors. I loved it.
