Product Review: Schar Tagliatelle

Pasta! There are very few joys in life like a perfect plate of pasta :) A texture snob like myself cannot help but be picky about using just the right type of pasta with every different sauce.

This week I got to try one more shape that has been a bit hard to find since going gluten free. Though it has a fancy name, tagliatelle is more commonly referred to as noodles. As in chicken and noodles, chicken noodle soup and noodle stroganoff.

These noodles are pretty awesome.They are thin, about a half inch wide by two inches long. They cook up with a great texture and very pleasing mouth feel.

The flavor is very mild - just the way pasta should be. There are no odd flavors or aftertaste of any kind.

I know it’s hard to believe, but I can’t find a single thing to complain about with Schar Tagliatelle. I will be buying them again. I can gladly recommend that if you like noodles that you should check them out too.
