Product Review: Lucy’s Sugar Cookies

Posted by: Marissa on March 2, 2011

Sugar cookies are the all-purpose cookie. They come in a variety of shapes and textures. You can frost them, sprinkle them or just eat them plain. I love a food that offers so many choices!

Lucy’s Sugar Cookies are of the small, round and crispy variety. The flavor is mild and sweet. There is no hint of gluten free weirdness or the sticky, overly sweet flavor that sugar cookies sometimes have.

Like all of Lucy’s cookies, they are made with oat flour. This gives them a warm flavor and special texture. The cookies are light and crisp. They would make a great crust if crunched up.

Just as good as the flavor and texture of these cookies is the impressive list of certifications. They are certified gluten free, kosher and vegan. The cookies are also free of peanuts, tree nuts, milk and eggs.

Overall, these cookies are mighty tasty and come with a good recommendation for anyone who enjoys a hint of oats in their sugar.
