Product Review: Back to Nature White Cheddar Gluten Free Rice Thin Crackers

Rice crackers were one of the first gluten free snacks I ever tried. When I first started a gluten free diet there weren’t as many options as there are now and rice crackers were the popular choice for snacking. I liked them right away. They have a unique crunch that made me happy. What I didn’t like is that most rice crackers seemed to carry a slightly bitter bite.

Back to Nature White Cheddar Gluten Free Rice Thin Crackers are different because they are missing that bitter note. They have a touch of sweetness, like Rice Krispies. The white cheddar flavor is great. It is tangy and cheesy, just like white cheddar should be.

The crackers are very light and crisp. They are fun to chew and offer no threat to the teeth. There are air bubbles in each cracker that keep them from being too hard. They are firm enough that they are good for dipping, like chips. You have to love the versatility there.

Added to the great flavor and texture is the fact that the crackers have no artificial flavors, preservatives, colors or hydrogenated oils. They are certified gluten free which means they have been thoroughly tested.

All things considered, this is a quality product that is packaged in a box made from recycled materials. These are tasty in the mouth, healthy for the body and good for the environment. It’s a win-win situation.
