Product Review: Rudi’s Cinnamon Raisin Bread

This is the biggest loaf of gluten free bread I have ever seen! From what I understand, all of Rudi’s loaves are this same monster (for gluten free) 18 oz size. I have to admit that I felt a bit exhilarated when I saw it :)

Lucky for me the excitement did not die away with the first taste. The description on the package promises quality ingredients, swirls of cinnamon and molasses and sweet, juicy raisins. While the cinnamon and molasses are more of a hint than a swirl, they really did deliver on the raisins. There were a lot of them and they were indeed sweet and juicy!

The bread itself is solid, but not dry or crumbly. I liked this bread better than I ever remember liking cinnamon raisin bread before I went gluten free. It was moist and tasty right out of the package. When toasted it was soft, warm and delicious!

I can easily recommend Rudi’s Cinnamon Raisin Bread. In fact, I am looking forward to this weekend when I am able to try it french toast style.
