Product Review: Naked Pop Crickle
This will be the last of my Pop Crickle reviews. It seems fitting somehow that the "naked" flavor would be the last. This is where the true flavor that is Pop Crickle really shines. The flavor is called naked because it has none of the nuts or fruit that most of the flavors have. That doesn't mean that it doesn't have flavor though.
Ease of Use
The re-sealable bag makes it easy to munch, store and come back to finish later.
Appearance
This bag is filled with white fluffy popcorn covered in a light golden glaze. Some of the pieces stick together in clusters and some float around solo.
Taste and Texture
The popcorn has a soft-crunchy consistency that is great to munch. The candy coating adds another layer of crispness that makes the texture really pop. I don't miss the nuts in this bag, the texture is seamless and very handful worthy. The flavor is sweet and buttery. It reminds me a bit of toffee, but is less pronounced. The flavor of the popcorn blends perfectly with the glaze.
Versatility
This is a great snack to set out at parties or, say, leave on the desk to nip at during the day. I'm afraid that sogginess will sink in if I use it as a topper for anything.
Overall Value
At $6.99 for 8oz. the price is steep. On the other hand, this stuff is pretty tasty.
Rating
I couldn't stop eating it. I definitely recommend you try it at least once.
