Product Review: Sesmark Sesame Garlic Mini Rice Crackers
Just when I am sure that there is nothing new to be had from rice crackers, someone has to prove me wrong. I know that gimmicks like “bite size” and “mini” don’t always make a difference but here it really did! One of the notable differences is the serving size. Each serving is 130 calories and consist of a whopping 37 crackers. This makes my snack habit happy.
Ease of Use
I love it when eating new products makes me think. Trying these crackers today led me to two realizations: 1. I take small bites. 2. All rice crackers should be “mini”. Granted, I also realize that this is nothing groundbreaking, but I am pretty firm in this new conviction. One of the things that I never knew I didn’t like about rice crackers is that I only eat half at a time which means I have to either break them or bite them. I like the fact that these were the perfect size to just pop in my mouth.
Appearance
Each cracker is about the size of a half dollar. They are light in color and spread through with sesame seeds. The crackers have plenty of small bubbles that promise good texture.
Taste and Texture
Sesmark Sesame Garlic Mini Rice Crackers taste like rice crackers. There are subtle hints of sesame and the crackers are lightly salted. The fun part is that I could only taste any garlic on about every fifth cracker. Needless to say it is not a strong flavor.
The texture is awesome. The light and crispy crunch could really not be any better.
Versatility
These gluten free crackers are perfect for dipping. You can dip one, pop it in your mouth and have no fear of needing to double dip.
Overall Value
There are so many crackers in this box! You can get a 5.25 oz box (about 185 crackers!) for around $3. The huge serving size really adds to my idea of value.
Rating
I have been happily dipping and munching these crackers all day and would not pass up the chance to do it again.
