Product Review: Glutenfreeda Three Cheese Pizza Wrap
It’s a pizza, it’s a wrap, it’s a gluten free pizza wrap! It is a tortilla full of pizza fillings, frozen, packaged and placed in the freezer case. On the scale of convenience, you can’t deny that this product rates pretty high.
Ease of Use
The instructions say to wrap the pizza wrap in a paper towel and heat for one to one and a half minutes. Then, flip it over and heat for another one to one and a half minutes.
I dutifully wrapped my food and heated it for one and a half minutes. When I opened the microwave to flip it over it was pretty hot so for the second round I only heated it for one minute. I pulled it out of the microwave and it was really hot. I tried to take it out of the paper towel so that I could eat it, but the tortilla stuck to the paper and I lost about half of the tortilla.
Appearance
Frozen, it looks like a burrito. When it was cooked and out of the paper towel, it looked like a tortilla boat filled with cheese.
Taste and Texture
I would simply describe this as a lot of tasty melted cheese with a hint of pizza flavor and a bit of rice mixed in. The tortilla lent a little flavor, but was mainly there for stability. I know that this is a short description, but it pretty much covers it.
Versatility
This product does not offer a whole lot of versatility.
Overall Value
Glutenfreeda Three Cheese Pizza Wrap cost me $2.99. I liked the wrap, but feel the price is too high for what you get.
Rating
This tasted good, but not good enough for me to buy it on a regular basis.
