Product Review: Pamela’s Shortbread Swirl Cookies

Pamela’s Shortbread Swirl Cookies have some attractive packaging and very nice words on the box. These “gourmet all natural cookies” are “A marriage of chocolate and vanilla swirled together for life”. I wanted to share those key phrases since I figure something that is all natural and marries chocolate and vanilla has to be a good thing.

Ease of Use

Open the box, tear open the plastic and you are good to go.

Appearance

These cookies are round, a little over an inch in diameter and half brown, half cream colored. Some cookies have more on the chocolate side, others favor the vanilla.

Taste and Texture

The cookies are downright delectable. The vanilla side is rich buttery shortbread while the chocolate side is just as rich and buttery, but with a dark chocolate flavor. The texture is wonderful. The cookies are solid to bite into but very moist as well.

Versatility

Definitely have to try these with a hot cup of coffee. They would make good ice cream sandwiches too.

Overall Value

The package contains nine cookies for just under $4. These cookies are very rich, and the serving size is one cookie. (FYI: That’s 7g fat per cookie). I would recommend making the box last awhile.

Rating

The cookies are rich and flavorful. I would buy them again.
