This stuffing is really easy to put together. The flavor makes it seem like it has been cooking longer then the time it takes.
When you eat this you can taste all the different flavors that are added into this dish. Your home smells like the holidays when it is baking.
There's a special spot that pasta hits and that spot can be hard to reach after you go gluten free. This recipe hits that spot. Risottos come in infinite variety but to get the creamy texture that we all love, it generally takes about 45 minutes of stirring. This recipe, from Cook's Illustrated, uses the convection of boiling water to stir for you. It's awesome and it means you can do risotto on a weeknight.
This chutney is wonderful with ham or turkey, makes a wonderful presentation on your holiday table. Your family will love this new twist on traditional cranberry sauce this holiday season! I found this recipe in a "Taste of Home" cookbook. It makes about 5 cups of chutney.
When is a potato casserole so good, two grown-ups polish off the whole thing in one fell swoop? When it's THIS potato casserole. Guess what? It's healthy, too. Well, maybe not if you eat the whole thing at once. This very simple dish (hello, starter Gluten Free Cooks out there!) is adapted from a Martha recipe.
This recipe came from The Old Farmer's Almanac website (www.almanac.com). Perfect fall flavors. A fun twist on an old Thanksgiving favorite!
Looking for a new twist on an old favorite? This simple side dish will be a new favorite! I found this in a holiday Taste of Home cookbook and knew it would be a fast favorite.
A few years back, I watched my awesome friend JoAnn make this recipe using orzo pasta, but I've adapted it for the GF types using polenta. I like using the polenta that comes in tubes from Trader Joes, but you can easily make your own polenta at home with a GF bag mix, and it's even less expensive.
Easy to prepare and so tasty!
This flour mixture is great for oatmeal cookies. I have not used this recipe in any other recipe yet. If you use this recipe and like it with one of your favorite recipes please let me know how this works out for you. You can adjust this to make more.
This recipe is so good. These cookies are great for the Holidays but can be used all year around. You family and friends will enjoy them. They may be asking you for the recipe. It is a really easy recipe to make.
I was not sure when I was making up this mixture that is was going to work. I found out that it does a great job when your using it for bread sticks.
These muffins are easy to make. When you are mixing them up, before you add the grated apple to the batter it will look way too dry. It will loosen up and be a moist batter when you are finished adding ingredients. These were wonderful made into mini muffins as pictured, bite sized. Not too sweet, but full of apple flavor. So tasty!
These have a great texture and aren't crumbly at all.
I developed this recipe out of a need for something "fall" that was both tasty and moist. It uses flours that I knew I loved to work with and even one I don't use often. It's a wonderful bread to take for an afternoon snack, have with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy a fall afternoon.
My family loves cranberry orange bread. This is the easiest and most tasty version of our favorite yet.
This is a very quick throw together bread. The results are so good. People will think it took you longer to make. I love this with my coffee in the morning. I took this to a meeting and they loved it.
This is great with your coffee in the morning. It is not a really sweet cake.
This is a recipe that you can make in a hurry. They really are very easy to make. They taste and look just like the bread sticks you would get when your out to dinner. There are several kinds of bread sticks that you can make with this recipe. I show three in the picture.
You can't even tell that these are Gluten Free at all. The only problem with them is that when your done baking them. It is so hard to stop eating them.
I use this recipe for my biscuits. They turn out light and fluffy. You can't even tell that they are gluten-free.
These great pancake's started with TanyaG's great Flour Mixture here on Gling. The problem with most Gluten-free pancake mixes is that to maintain fluffiness, they frequently become "rubbery" as they cool. These did NOT do that. They held together very well, also melt in your mouth. It is definitely a new family favorite. (Read curioduo's blog about these from 9.22.09.)
I made this recipe from using the TanyaG's Gluten-Free flour mix that is on this site. The texture is very much like a cupcake that you used to have. There is a wonderful flavor to these as well. When you bite into them it will remind you right away of the fall and the holidays.
These biscuits are easy because you use a food processor to make them. I make these all the time because they are that easy to put together. I have also used a variety of different cheeses with this recipe as well. You will want to double this recipe to make your family very happy.
This is a great recipe. When I bakes it in the oven it fluffed up and looked amazing. The taste it so good. Your friends who are not gluten free will never know it is a gluten free bread.
This recipe is from Bette Hagman's book, "The Gluten-Free Gourmet Cooks Fast and Healthy". It is a bread that is made in a bread machine and comes out wonderfully! There are a couple of changes that I made, but I'll give you her recipe as it was written for her book and add my changes along with it. You can decide how you want to make it. Both ways turned out wonderfully!

The batter will be a bit thicker than muffin batter. These rolls are as close to wheat tasting as I have made. So good! Would also be really good with some sharp cheddar cheese added to the mix too! Maybe Parmesan would also be a good idea for a different flavor.
This zucchini bread is great.
I have not made these yet. But this recipe really looks amazing.
These are so easy to just throw together. The batter is super white. I honestly did not think that they were going to be as good as they were. Everyone loved them if they were eating gluten free or not. The best part is that they fluff up so beautifully and they have a wonderful butter taste to them.

This corn bread has good texture. It didn't seem to be as crumbly as other breads did that I have tried in the past. It held together well.
Great as muffins or a bread loaf.
Such a wonderful bread, and so easy to make in your bread machine! My husband, who doesn't have to eat gluten-free loves it. It's the perfect bread to have with any meal, makes beautiful sandwiches and stores well for several days. it is adapted from a recipe by Bette Hagman.
Adapted from Tasty Kitchen
This is a great bread. It holds together great for sandwiches as well as is a great size. It toasts up well. It has a nice light taste and texture. This is a must try! We searched for 2 years for a bread we liked. We have stopped looking now. This bread is pretty perfect.
This apple pie is a pretty easy apple pie for being homemade. What makes it easy is the crust. The crust is made in a food processor. On a day when you are already making so many other things. You want something that gives a great presentation without having to spend hours making it. This is your pie.
Individual dessert "frisbees" made from those scraps of pie crust you don't quite know what to do with. Also disposes of the apples that won't fit a stuffed freezer. The cinnamon-sugar rim creates a pleasant surprise.
Light, not too sweet, pumpkin snack. Perfect for the season.
This is, by far, the best movie or family game night snack ever. Craving salty and sweet, this is the perfect snack. It takes only a few minutes to put together, no baking required. Just plain YUMMY!
Make these cookies and give them to friends...but save a few for yourself. As you can see from the picc, they didn't even last long enough to take a picture of the cut cookies. Adapted and made Gluten Free by ME from a Martha Stewart recipe. Note that the shortbread crust dough could also work for any shortbread cookie or spritz cookie recipe.
This recipe was my grandmother's recipe that I adapted to be gluten-free and it's just as tasty as grandma's ever was! YUM!
This was inspired by a banana bar that I used to make before we started eating gluten-free. My family loved this version and the caramel frosting made them even more tasty than the original!
My family about went nuts when I produced these tasty fritters. No one would know they are gluten-free and can be dairy-free. So good!
This recipe was adapted from a recipe in "Romancing The West From The Prairie Grass To The Pantry" by Frances A. Gillette. She lives in our area and I have been a long time fan of her recipes, using them often before having to live without gluten.
Perfect with some fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
The use of mayonnaise may seem odd, but it really does a lot for the texture. The recipe author recommends not trying to substitute the mayonnaise - you just won't get the same results.
This recipe is so good. These cookies are great for the Holidays but can be used all year around. You family and friends will enjoy them. They may be asking you for the recipe. It is a really easy recipe to make.
The best caramel apples I have ever had. Make them your own, put your own toppings on them, or make them as the recipe directs. They are fun to make, the kids have a blast and then the best part...eating them! One batch is never enough, you will want to make more, I promise. Cut them up to serve at your holiday party, perfect for Halloween. Perfect for any time and so yummy!
This is a new version of an apple streusel bar that my family loved before going gluten-free. The original recipe called for raspberry jam, not caramel, but I was in a fall kind of mood today and decided to use caramel instead. So yummy! Perfect for any "fall" type gathering, or just for a yummy treat to have with your cup of coffee or tea.
A really easy cheesecake to make, it was one of the first I ever tried. Turns out great every time. Perfect for any holiday dinner. Be careful, you will be expected to bring this to every holiday dinner, everyone will love it!
Sit down with a cup of fall flavor in your coffee cup! Such a wonderful treat on a cold fall morning. YUMMY!
I found this recipe in a Taste of Home cookbook and knew I had to share. Perfect for a cozy, lazy winter morning. Maybe while you are making your menu plan for a party or just enjoying a quiet moment. So good!
A mug of this will warm you to the core on a cold fall or winter day. Have a cup of this after an afternoon trip to the pumpkin patch with the kids! So yummy!
A mug of this warm, chocolate drink and your family will be glad they came home!
Perfect for the holiday season. No eggs and so yummy. Add your own "spice" to it and make it your own!
Thanksgiving is a delightful time for shared blessings with family and friends. It is a time for wonderful food and memories fashioned over a great meal. We hope this year's Thanksgiving Menuzine inspires a new idea and helps you find a great new holiday favorite. Enjoy!!
