Apple Cranberry Crumble

Perfect with some fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
3 cups chopped peeled apples
2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup gluten-free oatmeal
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup gluten free flour
2 Tablespoons corn starch
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted (use a dairy free alternative if needed)*
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional*
Instructions
Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Combine apples and cranberries and put them in the baking dish. In a small bowl, combine sugar and corn starch. Sprinkle sugar mixture over fruit. In another bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, flour, and butter; sprinkle over cranberry mixture. Top with pecans if desired. Bake, uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 55-60 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Serve warm.
*If dairy is a problem, use your favorite dairy free margarine. *If nuts are a problem, leave them out.
