So good, easy to make and a favorite at Christmas time.

When I first heard of these, I thought the name was a bit odd for a candy, then I tried them. Oh my! So good and perfect for your Christmas cookie exchange or to give as a gift to anyone, gluten-free or not. The kids will have a fun time making these with you as well!

Ingredients
5 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 2/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the sugar, peanut butter and butter; mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls; set aside. In a heavy saucepan or microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening. Stir until smooth. Dip balls into chocolate. Place on wire rack over waxed paper to drain. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until firm. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
