Buttermilk Fried Chicken
Crispy and jucy...just like mama used to make!

Awesome flavor and just as good as you remember a Sunday fried chicken dinner could taste!

Ingredients
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup potato flour
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 cup buttermilk
Dash of Tabasco to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
9 12 chicken thighs or legs or 1 cut up fryer
oil to fry in
Instructions
Combine dry ingredients in a shallow dish or pie plate. Combine buttermilk and seasonings in another shallow dish or pie plate.
Rinse and pat dry chicken pieces. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then in buttermilk mixture and then again in flour mixture. Fry in hot oil until browned on all sides and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels or cooling rack to drain off excess oil.
Serve either hot or cold.
Would also work well with boneless skinless chicken to make chicken strips or nuggets.
