Cilantro Vinaegrette safe

Take your salad "South-of-the-Border" with this tasty dressing!

This dressing is super easy to prepare in your blender and adds a tasty zest to any salad. Drizzle it over sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese for a different twist. So good! Use it as a marinade for chicken or steak for a change of pace.

Ingredients

1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
3 tablespoons sugar
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

Combine the first six ingredients in your blender. While processing, gradually drizzle the oil in a steady stream. Serve over salad or as a marinade for meat. Store in the refrigerator.

*When cutting hot peppers, disposable gloves are highly recommended. Wash your hands thoroughly and avoid touching your face.
