Corn Free Chocolate Syrup safe

So easy and NO corn syrup in it.

You won't want to go back to buying chocolate syrup when you can make up your own in no time. You can also adjust the chocolate flavor so that it is as rich as you want it. It's really good in coffee and makes great chocolate milk. It's not as thick as the store bought variety, but very tasty!

1/2 to 3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla (or any other flavor you wish, adjusting amount for how strong your flavoring is)


Place cocoa powder, sugar, and water in a small sauce pan. Bring it to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it’s boiled for a few minutes remove from heat and add vanilla. Allow to cool and then place in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
