Firehouse Chili safe

A spicy favorite!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 4 ounce can diced chilis
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
2 chopped jalapeno peppers
1 can gluten free tomato soup
1/4 cup chili powder (to taste, more or less)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder
32 ounces crushed tomatoes
2 32 ounce cans beans (black or red), drained
3 cups frozen corn
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Brown ground beef, drain if needed. Add all ingredients through the cayenne pepper. Once well combined, taste for heat. Be mindful that this will get hotter as it cooks, you can always add more chili powder or spices accordingly.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Allow to simmer long enough to heat through. Can simmer for a couple of hours if need be, or mixed together and placed in a crock pot to cook on low.

Serve with sour cream, cheese, rice and/or chips.
