SO easy and SO much better than ANY box mix.

This is our family's new favorite. No mix needed, it goes together quickly and made with things I always have in my pantry anyway. So many times I need pudding for this or that and don't have a mix on hand, now I don't have to worry anymore.
| Prep time | 10 minutes |
| Cooking time | 2 minutes |
| Servings | 6-8 |
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
4 cups whole milk (or desired milk, would work great including any non dairy option)
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a heavy saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into serving dishes if desired. To prevent a “skin” from forming on top of the pudding while it chills, take plastic wrap and completely cover the pudding. Pressing the plastic wrap down onto the top of the pudding, so that the plastic wrap comes in direct contact with the pudding will prevent a “skin” from forming. Chill until desired temperature and enjoy!
