Hot Apple Cider

A mug of this will warm you to the core on a cold fall or winter day. Have a cup of this after an afternoon trip to the pumpkin patch with the kids! So yummy!

Ingredients
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
3 cinnamon sticks (3 inches), broken
1 Tbsp dried orange rind
1 gallon apple cider
Instructions
Tie spices in a coffee filter or piece of clean muslin. Combine the brown sugar and cider in a large pot, add the spice bag. Place the pot on the stove and heat over medium heat. This needs to be allowed to simmer for 5-10 minutes to bring out the full flavor of the spices.
