This version of my barbecue sauce is a little on the tangy side, which is great for ribs. I prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce for chicken and other meats.
| Prep time | 5 minutes |
| Cooking time | 20 minutes |
| Servings | 3 cups |
Ingredients
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ceyenne pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium/low heat. Stir until everything is evenly distributed, then stir occasionally at a simmer to low boil.
The sauce will be thin, so it must be cooled before using. And it is even BETTER when it’s at least a day old and all the flavors have marinated together.

Just made this to go over meatballs, it was so good. My BBQ obsessive 10 year old LOVED it! I have a feeling I'll be keeping a jar of this in my fridge for his BBQ sauce cravings. :-)

Why thank you! And of course I wouldn't name it "Mucho Nummy" if it wasn't ... MUCHO NUMMY! :)
