Amazing flavor and texture!

Schar spaghetti has been my favorite gluten free pasta for a long time. The taste and texture are just about perfect. So you can imagine that it was with high hopes that I decided to try Schar Gluten Free Penne Pasta. I figured, same ingredients, same results, right? Close…. But not entirely true. Schar Penne has a great flavor. It is mild without being bland and it has no odd flavors to clash with different sauces. The texture is good. It is firm and has a wonderful bite to it. The problem is that the pasta is a bit starchy. When you bite into each piece it sticks to the teeth and has an almost flour-y texture.
